Hi everyone, I’m a bit confused. I thought brand protection was just about registering trademarks and maybe copyrights. But someone mentioned it also includes things like monitoring the internet for fake sellers and even stopping scammers. Is that really part of the same concept, or am I mixing things up?

You’re not mixing things up at all – it’s both. Legal rights are the foundation, but in the modern world, brand protection covers much more: keeping an eye out for infringements, stopping impostors, and protecting your online identity. The guide I read explained it clearly, without too much jargon. It’s worth a read if you want to see how legal steps and digital monitoring fit together.
